I had been really looking forward to this being over, given how wordy it was and how much of a chore it was to push through at times, though when it was all over, I must admit to being just a little bit curious as to what happened next.

The tension drives Matt to reveal his secret to Karen Page - but rather than bringing her closer, this revelation pushes her away! Matt Murdock has done battle with Marvel’s most maddening villains – but when the Jester enters the fray, the rules change forever.The body-switcheroo gimmick has been used before, but this was unique in it allowed Daredevil in Doom's body to really see again, and for an unsettled Doom to wonder why he senses more than sees his surroundings. it's worth it in some ways to flesh out marvel's new york and to build the world beyond just spider-man and the FF, but it's not individually different enough because it's trapped in Lee's voice. That being said, I can’t imagine it being better than this especially since Miller wrote Born Again a few years later and then The Man Without Fear after that. How does a highly-educated grown man with admirable boxing ninja abilities end up running after an annoying brat?

The first ten or so issues that were collected were not written by Miller and, while they are passable, they did not necessarily serve as predictors of greatness to come.When a daring act to save a man's life blinds young Murdock, he finds that the same accident has enhanced his remaining senses to superhuman levels! On top of that, you get great artwork with well-chosen perspective to match the dynamics of the action. He becomes Daredevil, a gritty hero born from murder, but tempered with the desire to protect the downtrodden. Now Elektra must step up to fill the role Matt has vacated – and show that she is a woman without fear!

Visually, this is simply an eighties gem of a superhero comic which look exactly like an eighties gem of a superhero comic. My criticism of his run lies solely with the fact that he wasn’t also providing the story for these issues.Certainly chief among these has been Miller’s uniquely classical take on superheroic narrative, “300,” and his “Sin City” books, each of which entered motion pictures with historic successes, and each now in Miller's creative phase of achieving its highly-anticipated sequel.
